To be honest hundreds of West Ham were giving it the old “sign on” to them during You’ll Never Walk Alone at the start of the game. Not surprised they didn’t raise a banner or whatever up in support of the cause.
Wasn’t needed anyway as we had plenty of our own on show. Not many supports could hold a protest like that away from home on a Monday night, halfway up the country. Done ourselves proud, onto Saturday!

Granted I’ve been in and out of the livingroom whilst putting the kids to bed but if I’ve missed it then it certainly didn’t get the necessary reaction. Should have been 15/20 mins in to the match, not at a point where it could be almost ignored.

I thought the idea of the black balloons was a mass release at the same time thus making an undeniable impact that would draw everyone’s attention to our plight and at least get the commentators to comment. So far it’s like the leftovers from a kiddies party. Very underwhelming.
